A Gift of Tribute to the Claiborne Healthcare Foundation is a meaningful way to say that you care, while investing in the future of our community’s healthcare. It provides you with an excellent opportunity to remember those, living or deceased, whose kindness and love have touched your life, expressing sympathy or appreciation or commemorating special occasions.

 

Homer Memorial Hospital was named and dedicated on July 13, 1949 in honor of all veterans of World Wars I & II. You can continue the legacy of your family members and friends who have served or are serving our country by making a donation in their memory or honor. Military personnel are specifically honored on Memorial Day in May and Veterans Day in November. In addition to being listed in the Foundation newsletter, Milestones, all honorees are listed in a special tribute ad in the local newspapers, The Guardian-Journal and The Haynesville News. We will not forget our military personnel who have made sacrifices to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today! 

 

Claiborne Parish is blessed to have seven local physicians and a host of healthcare professionals. Perhaps you would like to give a thank you gift for the exceptional care you or your loved one received at Homer Memorial Hospital or from one or more of the local physicians.

 

Each gift will be appropriately acknowledged by the foundation to the donor and recipient or family. Gift amounts are not disclosed. Donors and persons honored are named in Foundation publications.

 

100% of all contributions are used to fund specific hospital capital projects identified by the Foundation Board as Homer Memorial Hospital is covering all Foundation expenses. The Foundation is qualified by the Internal Revenue Service to receive contributions which are deductible for federal income tax purposes.

At this time, we are unable to accept on-line donations, but we are working toward that goal. In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation to Claiborne Healthcare Foundation, you may mail your check to P.O. Box 578, Homer, LA 71040.
